Fever, Cough, Cold. Sonography, ESR, Chest X-ray, Blood, Urine Test Done. Taken Medicine. No Relief. Treatment?

My son 11 years having fever for last 5 days 100 °f , when the tablet is provided gets back to normal. and again shows the fever after 12 hrs. He is having cough and cold as well.25 days back he was facing the similar problem . We checked for blood test and test for maleria, dengue was negative.checked for urine it was also normal.Sonography also normal, The WBC count was 0000 and ESR 95. The digital x ray for chest was normal.Kindly suggest . Shirish K. Phanse

Hello
If fever is present along with cough and cold,it is most likely viral in nature.
Normally such fevers go away in 3 to 4 days but some times they may get extended by couple of days more.
Just wait and watch for couple of days more.
If fever doesn't go away,he would be requiring investigations.
