Fever Blisters, Sore Throat. Suggestions To Remove Blisters?

I've developed fever blisters on my fingers and toes all of a sudden. When I was younger, I got them on my fingers before I started my period. Turns out, I just started; however, I am just getting over being sick that came out of no where on Friday...aches, fever, sore throat...
The fever blisters just puzzle me...do I need to worry...

Hi and thanks for the query,

It s important to know the nature of the blisters and adopt an appropriate treatment plan concerning eradicating these blisters. With fever, it is most likely that they should have an infectious origin (bacterial or less likely viral). A physical examination by your doctor is advisable O think for two main reasons. Firstly, from the nature of the blisters, it can be associated to a particular bacterial agent and appropriate treatment instituted. Secondly, sample from the throat and other blood tests could be needed. This would therefore be an opportunity for your doctor to collect these samples and prescribe any needed laboratory tests.

I suggest you consult your family physician. Thanks and kind regards.
