Ferritin Level Is 2.38. Had Iron Infusions. Level Is Still Dropping. Have Pain In Bones. Cause?

My ferritin levels, as of January 25, are 2.38. I have had 2 iron infusions but the numbers continue to drop at alarming rates. My joints have bothered me for a while but now my bones will not stop aching/hurting. I am currently under the care of a hematologist . What is causing my levels to drop and this pain I am experiencing in my bones?

hello,
in my opinion you have to consult a specialist as i think there is problem with gour bonemarrow. They may do your complete blood tests and tell yout he diagnosis.Sometimes condition may also be associated with diseases of spleen. But as you are menioning joint pain i think there is chance of leukemias.Thank you
