Fell Off Bike, Coughing Up Blood. Is It Possible That Lung Got Bruised?
Fell off bike onto concrete landing on back. Coughing up blood only when its a deep cough when normally flem would come out. Have only coughed hard enough to have blood come out like 10 times or so but it is dark red and somewhat thick. I'm thinking I bruised my left lung... The biggest bruise i have is on right side of my body right in front and below the last rib.

You should visit doctor if blood coughin persist. This can be sign of lung damage or tracheal damage. You shouldnt ignore this.There might be rib fracture too. Next time you should go to ER right away. Now, if you notice breathing difficulties or blood again visit doctor. Wish you good health.
