Fell Off A Roof, And Hurt My Foot. Had A Shattered Heel, Broken Ankle,foot. Put A Cast. More Painful Now. Treatment?
I fell off a roof last July, Approx 20 feet, landed on left foot, had open/closed fracture on inner left ankle, put a cast on said would be o.k./had ankle fusion and calcaneal osteomoty on April 8th of this year, surgeon also shaved and shimmed one side of heel due to parameters needed. Initial diagonisi was shattered heel, broken ankle, broken foot, it's been 3 months since surgery, am in more pain now, that when accident occured. Feels like I am walking on the inside of my left ankle/very painful-any suggestion? should I have an MRI?

Thank for choosing HCM, this is orthopedic injury and already operated, why do not you discus the problem with your surgeon he would be the person knowing every thing about your injury and operative procedure, here in this forum, any one can suggest you for pain killing agents, bu in my opinion you should complain to your surgeon this is your right, and let him decide what to do, you your self can not go for MRI, then who will read it who will take the decision, or I can not ask for MRI because I am not your surgeon OR I have not seen your injury,,, so asking such question will not solve your problem,, have nice day
