Feel Burning Mouth Ensation Even Eating Less Spicy Food. Feel Swelling On Side Of Neck. Pain In Left Side. Suggestions?

before 3 weeks i am not able to eat anything . i feel burning mouth(tounge,mouth,lips) sensation even eating less spicy food. but i managed with curd and without spicy dish.. when this problem was over i feel a stinging pain below the tounge on right side and i feel swelling on my left side on my neck. i didnt see any differece between my left and right neck. but when i turn my head i feel the stiffness on my left side on the neck. now i am hving this stiffness for over 2 weeks and also i have pain on left shoulder , left top back and join pain on my left side. what is the reason for this. do i need to see doctor

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

Stiffness and pain in your neck seems to be due to muscle spasm of the neck muscles. It can be a symptom of cervical spondylitis.

You should get a MRI scan of your neck done to confirm the diagnosis.

Following precautions will help in relieving your neck pain :-
1. Avoid very thick pillows.
2. Do not lift heavy weights.
3. Use of neck collar can help.

Pain killer like Ibuprofen twice a day after meals along with muscle relaxant chloraxazone and an antacid will help in giving you relief.
Local application of pain relieving gel will also be helpful.

I would advice you that you should first get yourself examined clinically by your doctor.
