Family Recovered From Stomach Virus. Child Still Has Slimy Saliva, White Tongue And Bad Diet. Cure?
our whole family just had a stomach virus. everyone else recovered in 24hrs but my daughter (2 yrs old) still isn t back to herself. She also had the bug the worst. She is very irritable, not eating much and has a very white tongue and slimy saliva . She stopped throwing up on Sunday and it is Tues. and she still doesn t want to eat much. Is something more serious going on here?

Post viral loss of appetite does happen.
You can give her some more time and see.
Just rule out thrush infection of the tongue though it is unlikely in a well 2 year old!
