Fall, Extreme Pain And Dent Around Impact Site, Warmness Around The Impact Area. Cause?

Hi, I had a very bad fall onto the corner of a deck step a few months ago and had a terrible bruise for weeks. It was also extremely painful around the impact site. The bruise healed, but I have a dent in the impact area. Last week the area started to become painful again and I can not feel that the skin over the impact site is much warmer than the surrounding skin. What is happening? Thank you.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The numbness at the site of bruise is usually due to mild nerve injury which usually improves without any treatment. The dent due to fibrosis will also heal with time.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
