FOR WHAT REGESTRONE TABLET IS TAKEN FOR? i have overian endometrioma problem and my doctor prescribed me this tablet. how far it would help in resolving this prtoblem. can you help me out. s it advisable to carry this tablet.

Welcome to healthcaremagic.com,Endometriosis occurs when there is unopposed estrogen secretion.The aim of treatments is to reduce or stop the estrogen being produced in a woman’s body, so that it does not continue to feed the Endometriosis growths.The aim of drug therapy is to break the cycle of stimulation and bleeding. By stopping the ovary's usual hormonal cycle and reducing estrogen levels, the endometrial deposits shrink down and become inactive. Progesterone hormone tablets - oppose the estrogen effects on the endometrial growths which causes them to ‘shrink’. Progesterone also prevents ovulation which lowers the estrogen levels.But it could recur if stopped.
Lap surgery where the deposits are removed at surgery is done for moderate endometriosis,failure of medical treatment,subfertility.
