Eye Redness After Wearing Contact Lenses. Is This Okay?

My contacts left a imprint on my eye.I went tot the restroom to brush my teeth and I was looking at how red my eye was and then I moved my contact and saw an lining wear my contact was.My optometrist told my it was okay to wear them for the whole month.Is this okay?I have been wearing my contacts for about 4-5 months now and this has never happend.

Redness of the eye due to contact lens is important to notice as they may cause severe irritation and even corneal ulcer in some cases.Look at the lens closely and see whether there is any damage to the lens.If there is no damage to the lens then try to clean it and disinfect it and reinsert if you feel irritated then you need to consult your health care professional immediately to avoid further complications.Thank you.
