Experiencing Terrible Chest Cold, Swollen Glands And Throat. Can I Take Gauifenesin?

I take 50 mg of Setraline daily. Currently, I have a terrible chest cold, swollen glands and throat. Can I take Gauifenesin 400 mg(nothing else is in this pill.) I know that it is on the moderate drug interaction list, but I need some relief. Also, is there a safe cough syrup I can take?

if you take my view then I would suggest you that don't worry and guaphenasin is safe with minimum drug interactions also you can go for ambroxol which is quite safe with minimum drug interactions
