Psychiatrist 's  Response
Dear User,
Thanks for using health care magic.

From the available description it appears that your primary complaints are sleeplessness and palpitations. The medication prescribed by your doctor is appropriate but he need to rule out thyroid problems.

At the next visit ask him for thyroid assessment and electrocardiogram to rule out any cardiac problem. If these things turned out negative than probably your doctor will modify your medication regime.
If you have other symptoms like excessive sweating, dryness of mouth, numbness, depresonalisation, derealisation, restlessness than you need to be evaluated for anxiety disorder.

'Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help".
Thanks
