Hello,

As with the history I understand it to be a Trapezitis. This can occur due to inflammation of the Trapezius muscles. I will advice you to take up an MRI of cervical spine as in most cases this is the primary factor for the spasm and pain. Once done MRI get back to me so we can plan the outcome score

Now, I want you to follow this therapeutic plan.
1. Hot water fermentation for neck and upper back.
2. Using neck collar when not doing exercises.
3. Static Neck exercises.
4. Triceps strengthening exercises.
5. Stretching of pectoralis muscles and biceps muscles.
6. Strengthening of deltoid muscles.

All these exercise are free exercise without having any weight implementation.

In my clinical practice of 12 years most cases have been complaining of Trapezitis on/off and to workout behind the precise therapeutic plan we take the full history, assessment and examination. Most cases have a pain free movements now.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
