Exercises, Walking Have Helped To Strengthen Muscles. But Lower Back Pain Persists With Disturbed Sleep
I have a pain in the lower back while I am asleep and change sides. I have checked with Neuro, ortho and they prescribed some exercises to strengthen back muscles. Pain is OK after I get up and walk for 15-30 minutes and is OK throughout the day. Exercises have helped but pain is not eliminated and I have a disturbed sleep. Pls suggest. It is 2 months I am execrcising

Well..If you have a low back pain its necessary to find out the reason for LBP. You need to find the diagnosis. Prescription of exercises depends on the cause of LBP. We need to find out which are all muscles weak and which are all muscles shortened. Need to find out your extensiblity of the muscles of the lower limbs. By looking into all the above findings a exercise is prescribed. If you have a disturbed sleep please try changing your mattress. Please prefer a firm bed. and lie in the side avoid lying on the tummy or straight. Thanks
