Ear Infection, Taking Amoxicillin And Ibuprofen, Rashes And Hives Over Body, Prescribed Benadryl And Azithromycin
Hi, I brought my 15 month old to the er yesterday she was prescribed amoxicillin and ibuprofen for an ear infection . I gave her the meds before bed. She woke up fine,playful as usual. I gave her the meds at 11:05 about an hour later she had a rash, hives all over her body. I brought her back to the er they told me it was in allgergic reaction to the meds. They prescribed a different med and benadryl for the rash. Is it okay to give her benadryl & Azithromycin 5 hours after or should I wait longer?

it is okay 4 hours are sufficient to repeat medicines
