Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

With an eight week history of intermittent pain on right side of your body below belly button, there are many things that need to be clinically thought of.

I would like to rule out any condition to do with your appendix, this is at times a very severe pain and can get you to tears. It periodically wanes and reappears in some patients and can have progressive intolerable pain in some.

The other condition to be thought would be with your kidneys or ureter having a stone which is on its way out.

Any condition concerning your ovaries also must be thought about. This may or may not be related to your menstrual cycles.

There are also bowel conditions other than appendix which might be necessary to be considered like mild infection, diverticulitis.

Please consult your doctor and they might do an ultrasound scan of abdomen after examining you clinically.

Hope this helps.
