Done With Ultrasound Which Showed Small Black Cyst On Baby.Should I Be Worried About The Findings?what Could Be Done?

We saw an ultrasound of our baby yesterday. It showed a very small black cyst on his brain. I'm 20 weeks and I don't like the sound of having to undergo an amnio. I have read too much information about this that are encouraging but of course I'm still somewhat concern. Are this cysts really that common and not harmful to the health of the baby?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Usually in few fetuses sometimes these type of cysts can be seen.
And they can regress by their own sometimes.
So regular checkups with ultrasound examinations are needed.
As the fetus is having very small cyst there is more possibility for regression.
So you continue your routine tablets and regular examinations.

Take care.
