Done Embryo Transfer. Taking Proluton. When Do I Need To Use It?
I just had my embryo transfer done 7 days ago in a different country from where I am now. My dr gave me proluton for standby and need to be administered by a dr as it needs to be applied via injection . Can I know when do I need to use proluton? The dr applied one on me on day 4 when I had abdomen pain. Appreciate your advice.
ideally protulon depot is taken once a week intramuscularly to support the pregnancy initially till around 18- 20 weeks of pregnancy, and after that once in 10 days or so till your doctor feels the need for supporting the pregnancy as after 16-17 weeks usually placenta is well developed and starts secreting hormones to support the pregnancy,so it depends on your doctor.
