Hello
Wearing of contact lenses is known to cause allergic conjunctivitis and it is called as papillary conjunctivitis and giant papillary conjunctivitis. Usually this allergic conjunctivitis occurs following wearing of contact lenses for a long time.
The treatment in the initial stages is by use of anti-allergic drugs. The sever cases may require discontinuation of the use of contact lenses.
If the allergy is sever then you to stop using the contact lenses till the symptoms are relieved.

Thank you
