Does Using Dipsalic F Helps Removing Corns On Feet?

Hi, my daughter , 13 yrs old, has corns on both her feet, which are very painful.
She has undergone various treatments for the same, used corn caps for prolonged periods and changed her shoes innumerable no. of times. But nothing has helped.
Last week we showed her to a new doctor who suggested she use Dipsalic F before bedtime every night. But I am scared of using it on her as all other past treatments have only failed.
Pl help me by letting me know if she should use that ointment ? And if there are better or alternative treatments for the same.
Thanks,
Sapna.

Hi,

The most important thing to confirm in your daughter's condition is to differentiate whether it is corn or planter warts.

You have to see a proper dermatologist who can differentiate the two conditions properly. Dipsalic can be used in corns but not in warts. It contains salicylic acid which is beneficial in both the conditions.

A proper dermatological guidance is mus tin your daughter's case.

Take care.
