Does The Fetus Size In Ultrasound Report Indicate Any Abnormality?

My daughter is pregrant of 27 weeks and in her ultrasound check up we detect left ventricular of fetus is 9.5 mm.. is it going upper limit of the size ? If yes what will be defect baby will suffer after birth. My daughter's all other findings in ultrasounds are normal

From the measurement that you gave me, there is no need to panic. Quoting from a reputable source:

"...between 15 and 40 weeks of gestation the ventricular diameter remains stable, with reported means of 5.4 to 7.6 mm and an upper limit of normal of 10 mm. The diagnosis of mild ventriculomegaly is made when the ventricular atria measures between 10 and 15 mm..."

So, based on these criteria, the measurement is not technically abnormal. That being said, she needs a consult with a high-risk OB who is skilled in targeted anatomic ultrasound to determine if this is an issue and to further evaluate for any other anomalies.
