Does Smoking Weed During Pregnancy Affect The Child ?
Hello, I m 22 weeks pregnant and I smoked weed through out most of my pregnancy (so far). I recently quit a few days ago. So I have a few questions. Since I m done smoking it, should it be in my baby s system once she is born? I ve heard that weed stays in the placenta, doesn t matter how much you smoke during pregnancy, is that true? If not, how long? I also heard to drink cranberry juice with a vitamin b12 supplement and it will help THC get out of blood system? Yes, I know its not right to smoke weed while being pregnant but it was the only thing that would help me with getting morning sickness (which seemed to be anytime sickness instead). Every woman goes through morning sickness, which in some cases is quite serious and troubling, but none in my experience have taken substances that can potentially cause birth defects in their fetus. There is a chance of it being in your baby's system when it is born, and you are obviously worried about it being detected once your child is born. As for ill effects low birth weight, premature labor, etc; are some of the ill effects of smoking weed during pregnancy.
