Does Sinus Infection Have Mild Pneumonia Like Symptoms?

My mom has been tested several times for pneumonia, but test is negative. For months she sounds like she has a cold. She does not have a runny nose or sneezing. Doc said it is not a sinus infection. She has an occasional cough which she has always had. Her voice is more strained as the day goes on.

Hi, First I would like to tell u about pneumonia. It is a severe bacterial infection of lungs(lower respiratory tract infection). Its features are fever rapid breathing, cold and cough.so from history clearly says that your mother does not have pneumonia. Regarding voice change it may be because of nasal problem or may be due to vocal cords defect so need to see what are their condition? please send if u have any details or old medical records regarding that. thank you
