Does Sinus Drainage, Sore Throat And Pressure Below Ears Indicates Sinus Infection?

I have sinus drainage but no sinus pressure. When I blow my nose the mucus is clear. However, if I "snort and hack" there appears to be a bloody/brownish tint to the mucus. Also has a foul after taste. Other symptoms are a sore throat and pressure below the ears. Is this an indicator of a sinus infection or cold?

Hello

Your symptoms are an indicator of sinus infection and you should meet your ent doctor, who will do an endoscopy on you and confirm this. You will need antibiotics for the sinus infection and i would like you to meet your doctor as soon as possible.
Thanks
