Does Shoulder Injury From An Accident Cause Shoulder Bone Spur?
After an automobile accident I had complaint of pain in my shoulder that was mostly ignored. Aprox 6mths to a year later when it became to much to hold my brand new grandchild I had an x-ray done that found bone spur (s) in my shoulder. Are they related? I was 32 at the time of the accident and 5 4 150ish lbs. Since I m asking, I was made aware after the accident my hips aren t aligned anymore. My knees have sort of always had a Crack but since then it s a painful hard click, on top of the knee/hip pain my feet hurt I was dx with tendinitis in 4 tendons in my feet including the arch and Achilles, told I have planter fascitis and heel spurs. Are these all related to the issue in my hips?
The recent pain in shoulder at the time of holding your grandchild indicates possible issue with the arthritis or tendinopathy which is common occurrence after trauma over shoulder particularly at rotator cuff level. Bone spur formation (new bone pieces) is also common in such traumatic instances after erosion of articular surfaces of the joint or synovial space. However, an MRI if of best evaluation option for the final diagnosis and cure accordingly.
