Scar Tissue After Shoulder Injury Preventing Mobility, Relief After Cortisone Shot

I had shoulder surgery in October, large tear in muscle, tendon bone spur and had 8 mm of my clavicol removed, surgeon told me scare tissue is preventing me with mobility I should be at for protocol. he gave me a cortisone shot Friday. said it would shrink the scare tissue so I can achieve more mobility. Is that true that is shrinks scare tissue??? I am still receiving PT 3 days a week. which is helping somewhat. started that Oct 23rd.

Hello

Yes steroid injection in shoulder do work if given properly it reduces inflammation and scar tissue.

Physiotherapy will help for early recovery. Physio like USG and TENS will help.
So continue it.
