Does Receiving A Betnesol Injection During Pregnancy Harm The Fetus?

Doctor I have given with two doses of betnesol injection with 24 hours apart..suddenly I can feel that my baby movements are reduced.. I m currently in my 32 weeks with 1 day remaining..kindly answer whether this injection could cause any I ll effect to my baby?? Or it is normal to experience this type of reduced movements???

Hi,

Betnosol is not allowed to be used in pregnancy because it is teratogenic. It is category C according to FDA that means not allowed in pregnancy only if your doctor finds it more beneficial for you than harmful.

Hi,

Betnosol is not allowed to be used in pregnancy. It is category C according to FDA that means not allowed to be used. Your doctor recommended it since the benefits are greater than risks.
