Does Prolonged Usage Of Melalite XL Cause Any Harm To Face?

Hi Sir's, I had skin tan in my college days and a doctor suggested me to us Melalite XL, am using it since from 2+ yrs.. with very little dosage every night, a year back i started getting pimples on my face bcoz on my work pressure and hormonal imbalance as am facing from irregular periods, which is healed now and have leftover scars.. my concern is can i use Melalite XL for long (as i read some bad reviews abt it) or is thr any alternative which can be used on regular basis and is skin friendly, as i stay in big city and working woman, my skin gets dark very soon.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Melalite XL contains Hydroquinone, Tretinoin and Mometasone Furoate which is a steroid and long term use of steroid containing ointment in skin can cause severe side effects like skin thinning, inflammation, rashes, pimples, increased hair growth on face and also dilated veins under skin..
I would suggest that you have already used it for prolonged period of time, you can gradually stop using it like using it once daily, followed by using every alternate day and gradually stop using it completely to prevent sudden withdrawal side effects..
You can start using other safer products like washing your face with Salicylic acid and Glycolic acid containing facewash, apply creams containing kojic acid, glycolic acid and arbutin..
Apply Vitamin E gel at night..
You can exfoliate your skin twice a week with a gentle scrub..
Limit sun exposure and always apply sunscreen lotion..
You can also go for treatment like Microdermabrasion and chemical peeling..
