Does Pacemaker S Battery Life Is 3 Months?

I had my pacemaker check yesterday. It s being checked monthly now because the battery life is low. I was told that the battery life is 3 months by the technician. Does this mean 3 months? or is there some padding on the 3 months? I was not not told that they will schedule a replacement surgery. They simply scheduled another pacemaker check in one month. You didn t tell me you were going to charge me money.
