Does Ovarian Cyst Affect Getting Pregnant?

I just found out today that I have a cyst. I have three kids but I want one more. Now I have had an ectopic pregnancy and since then it been hard for me to get pregnant. I ve been having unprotected sex with my husband for about 3years since my ectopic pregnancy and still haven t been able to conceive yet. Will I still be able to have kids due to this cyst?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I can understand your concern.
People with ovarian cysts rather polycystic ovarian syndrome do have difficulty in conceiving. I would suggest a complete hormonal study for you along with a thyroid profile and ultra sound abdomen. We have lot of treatment modalities now for pcos, so this should not be a problem. Kindly consult a gynecologist or do revert back with the reports. Hope you are satisfied with the response. Thanks for choosing HCM
