Does One Abortion Pill Intake Followed By Bleeding For 20 Minutes Confirm The Completion Of An Abortion?

Hi doctor I just had an abortion yesterday ..pill arbotion which I took at 18:00 and at 20:00I started bleeding for 30minutes ..few minutes later had something coming out it was a whitish thing like a toilet paper with black spots ..but I m still having metallic taste and bleeding has just stopped..I m worried that the abortion might have been unsuccessful

Hello there I have read through your question and understand your concern. Medical abortion should not be done without Medical supervision as it can pose grave threats to your health. Incomplete abortion may lead to sepsis. You should consult a gynaecologist as soon as possible and get an ultrasound done to determine whether the abortion is complete or not. Ultrasound is the only method to determine whether the products of conception are completely out or not. You have not mentioned the duration of your pregnancy which is an important factor to determine whether Medical abortion will be successful or not.
