hello
welcome to HCM
I will try my best to give you reliable guidance.

HIV is the Human Immuno Deficiency virus. HIV positive means you are infected with this virus. It can't be cured but can control for a very long time with proper medicines and diet. It attacks on our immune system. so we lose our courage to fight back to different types of infections which includes some bacteria, fungus, viruses and many more. so our body becomes home of different diseases and also some types of cancers. this stage is called AIDS. so many diseases like tuberculosis and certain viral diseases cause lymph node swelling. but this process takes time depending upon our body's power and slowly develop.

Hope you will understands the matter

Hello
CMIA test is negative and index is also normal .
You didn't mention the time , when these lymph nodes enlarged .
Approximately 50 -70 % of infected individuals experience an ACUTE SYNDROME ( your enlarged lymph nodes come under this category ) following primary infection ( after exposure ) . The acute syndrome follows infection by 3- 6 weeks .
No doubt your test is negative and also perfect because window period is 2 weeks but in your case you were tested after 8 weeks .
But the main point of concern is enlargement of lymph nodes .
This is ( lymph nodes ) also a main symptoms of HIV infection . Others are fever, pharyngitis , headache/retro-orbital pain, lethargy/malaise , arthralgias/myalgias, anorexia/weight loss,nausea/vomiting /diarrhea.
Mucocutaneous ulceration in the mouth and on tongue.
Rashes .
So in my opinion keep watch over these symptoms .
Get in ELISA test after 3 months and 6 months for HIV confirmation.
Hope this will help you.
