Does Low Progesterone Level Affect Pregnancy?

Hi,I just got married Feb 7 2015 and I have been trying hard to conceive, I was having milkish discharge on my breast so my doctor prescribed parlodel tablet for me and later I was giving 2ml of gestron-25 to take for five ays after one week of my cycle cos my progesterone is low.will I be able to conceive? The dosage is correct Thanks future mom

Gestone is indicated as an adjuct to a successful treatment for infertility and i think you should continue to use it until your progesterone level is established.
Gestone may be used to maintain pregnancy where there is deficient production of endogenous progesterone from the corpus luteum. It should not be necessary to administer Gestone once there is adequate secretion of placental progesterone.
Please contact your physisian again to keep in control your progesterone level until it is established , in order to able to conceive.
After you'll get pregnant, you should be careful again to check the level of progesterone againto find it the level is fine to mantain a helathy pregnancy.
