I am have just turned 46 years of age, and my period is now 11 days late. For the last 3 months I have thought I had started menopause, as I have been irrationally moody, and I have had periods which are irregular in length and type. My doctor said it was possible I had started menopause, but it would take a few months to determine if this was the case.
The only other times in my life when my period has been this late, has been in my 3 previous pregnancies. In the past I have been 6 days late at the most. I,have tried a home pregnancy test and believe I see a faint line........but then again, I could be deceived. Are you able to help me with my indecision? Is this early menopause, or could I be pregnant? I would appreciate your help. Thank you. (Christine)
