Does Lack Of Sleep Cause Increased Heart Rate?

Is there a link between lack of sleep and increased heart rate? After a poor nights sleep, my heart rate seemed increased, I checked my pulse my heart rate and my heart rate was about 90BPM, after a nap, my heart rate returned to around 70BPM. I m a 24 year old male, height: 174cm, weight: 72kg

hi.

yes. it could contribute to your increase in heart rate. any form of stress or strenuous activity could increase our heart rate. the most important thing about your HR, is that it is still within the normal range of 60-100 beats per minute.
