General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Biotin use can result in falsely high levels of T4 and T3 and falsely low levels of TSH, leading to either a wrong diagnosis of hyperthyroidism or that the thyroid hormone dose is too high.
So,you should not stop taking biotin because it causes false results.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
