Does Headache From A Fall Persist For Long?

I am a woman and I fell and hit my head on the sidewalk. I was about 60 years old at the time. My husband said it sounded like a melon fell. I get headaches and high blood pressure. I did not seek medical assistance. Could I, after about 10 years still have symptoms because of the fall?

Hi
Welcome to HealthcareMagic

I went through the history and it seems you are having headache for a long time. It is unlikley that your injury is the cause for your persistent headache.
Your headache appears to be because of your blood pressure and requires treatment by the use of antihypertensive drugs to control the blood pressure.
Do consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly depending on the underlying cause.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Hope this is helpful yo you.

Thank you
