Does Headache And Cough After Treatment For Pneumonia Indicate Swine Flu?

hi,my 12 year old daughter was diagnosed with pneumonia nearly two weeks ago after being ill for nearly two months. she is now complaning of a headache and is coughing again quite a bit but doesnt have a temp as yet but also feels sick i am alittle worried about swine flu

I understand your concern.
H1N1 is a subtype of the influenza A virus. It is also known as swine flu.
Symptoms include: Fever, chills, body ache, cough, congestion, headache, sore throat starting about 18-72 hours after exposure.
Presently, it appears that she might be still in the recovery phase of pneumonia. However, if she develops any of the above symptoms, especially fever, then she need to be isolated and treated after confirmation of H1N1 infection.
The best way to prevent swine flu is by getting vaccinated each year.
