Does Having Unprotected Sex A Day Prior To Ovulation Lead To Conception ?
Hello I Had unprotected sex with my boyfriend a day before my ovulation can I get pregnant .I got date the very next day and also ipill was taken on the first day of ovulation.our doubt is that wil i still get pregnancy? pls answer we dont want any baby right now.during date i had a i pill not after sex but the day after sex on whch i got avoulation .

I-pill is to be taken as soon as possible after sex .Sooner you take the pill more effective it will be.
If taken within first 12 hours of unprotected sex they prevent pregnancy 95-99% of cases.
If taken after 12 hours but before 72 hours after intercourse, emergency contraception pills prevent pregnancy about 75-89% of the time.
It does not work if a fertilized egg has already implanted in uterus.
