Does Eating Discomfort Require Fundoplication Which Was Done Earlier?
I had a fundoplication 10 years ago and in the last week i have been is such sever pain and cant eat anything. It feels like I am full but I cant eat anything, its like it feels like it is stuck...or cant go down so I have only been sipping on watery mash potatoes or broth...i CANNOT eat anything solid. Is it possible that my surgery needs to be redone?? Once I had this surgery, I have NEVER had any problems until last week....I really feel like I am about to die if you can imagine the pain is that severe.
You had fundoplication 10 years ago, so you are more succeptible than the general population. your symptoms are not contributing for any type of eating disorder. Symptoms are suggesting that you are having obstruction at oesophagus (food pipe), thats why you are not able to eat solid food, liquis food slips off. You need urgent surgical opinion and surgical intervention too.
