Does Double Dosage Of Vyvanse Cause Any Adverse Side Effects?

I think I accidentally took two of my 20mg Vyvanse tablets yesterday instead of one I take a folic acid supplement which is the same color as my Vyvanse prescription I had a rather rough day yesterday in terms of racing heart anxiety Etc. I still feel pretty wired this morning, should I skip my normal dose of Vyvanse for the day.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Vyvanse is having Lisdexamfetamine. It is sympathetic drug. So your racing heart rate, anxiety are due to over excited sympathetic system. These symptoms usually subside with time in 12-14 hours. So no need to worry much. Continue taking your next Vyvanse at your routine time. Better not to commit this mistake again.

Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
