Hallow Dear,

Your last menses were on 27 December, so by 13 Feb, it is almost 6 weeks. At six weeks amenorrhoea, the urine pregnancy test does give reliable results. If it is negative on 13 February, you are not pregnant. The uterus is trying to contract at the time of menstruation causing cramps. This cannot be due to pregnancy. If they are unbearable cramps, some analgesic anti-spasmodic medicine will give you relief.

This seems to be hormonal imbalance.

As a first step, you may initiate your menstruation by taking some Progestational preparation like Deviry for 5 days. Then within 4-7 days, you would get withdrawal bleeding.

If the same pattern repeats or if there is no withdrawal bleeding, please report to your Gynaecologist to get investigated for the type of hormonal imbalance - Polycystic ovarian syndrome, Abnormal uterine bleeding, etc. and get appropriate treatment.

I hope this helps you today.
