Does Deficiency Of Vitamin A Cause Enlarged Testicles?

MY SYMPTOMS ARE AN ENLARGED TESTICLE, STARTED WITH THE OPPOSITE ONE RETRACTING UNUSUALLY, THEN OVER THE PAST FEW MONTHS THE ONE HAS ENLARGED TO ABOUT TWICE ITS NORMAL SIZE. THERE IS NO PAIN, JUST UNCOMFORTABLE. 1. CAN THIS BE CAUSED BY A VITAMIN DEFICIENCY? MY UNCLE HAD A SIMILAR BUT MUCH WORSE SYMPTOM THAT INCLUDED PAIN AND WAS DIAGNOSED AS A VITAMIN B-12 DEFICIENCY 2. IS THIS COMMON IN MEN OVER 40 UNDER 50? 3. HAVE A DOCTOR APPOINTMENT SET FOR 2 WEEKS AWAY, IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO OR OVER THE COUNTER RX I CAN TAKE IN THE MEANTIME?

Hello,

Most likely, it's not vitamin deficiency. And before the appointment with the doctor, there is no over the counter treatment for this kind of problem. To diagnose it correctly, you must be examined by a doctor. So, relax and consult your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Farhana Parvin, General & Family Physician
