Does Curcumin Help Alleviate Persistent Diarrhea And Stomach Pain?

Doctor, My Mother has suffered from pancreatitis for more than 15 years and deals with persistent diarrhea and significant stomach pain. Curcumin has been recommended for IBS, GERD and other stomach related issues. Would Curcumin be a good choice to help alleviate her symptoms? Some of the literature that I have read has indicated diarrhea and heartburn as side effects, while others have stated that curcumin has very few side effects. Your input is appreciated

HI; it is difficult to treat pain secondary to pancreatitis. curcumin may be
acting as anti inflammmatory agent-by blockimg cytokines.,
mild side effects can be controlled by PPIs & DIARRHEA can be controlled by pancreatic enzyme supplements..
