Does Consuming Zentel During Pregnancy Affect The Baby?
Hello, I have just found out that i am 6 weeks pregnant. Previous to this i took 2 chewable tablets of zentel in around week 3 of my pregnancy. (just after conception). I just wanted to know if there is any risk that my baby will develop any abnormalities or anything like that?

Zentel (albendazole) is a drug used to the treatment of parasitic worm infestation. Zental is a Class D drug. It should not be taken during pregnancy as there are chances that it may effect the baby. I advice you to tell this information to your gynecologist who can keep a close watch on your baby.
