I have been on prodep 40 mg for a year, my depression is still not gone, life is not easy, I feel lethargic and irritated and gained a lot of weight. I feel irritated on wearing starched clothes and on pressure of urination?Shall I restart the prodep?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
Prodep is Fluvoxetine a SSRI group of antidepressants.
Your symptoms are due to depression from which you have not fully recovered.
If you were absolutely fine on Prodep then you may restart.
If not, you may want to consult your doctor again, as there may be another drug in the same group or another group of antidepressants on which you may do better.
Wish you a lasting recovery and good health.
Dr. Noble Zachariah
