Hi, thanks for your time. I have colonoscopy scheduled for Wed. -four days from now, I,ve been required ti take 1 bottle of Mag. Cit. WITH 3 Dulcolax pills in morning on 1st. day of prep and again in the afternoon then Potasium Chloride in eve. THEN 2nd day AGAIN--1 bottle of Mag. Cit. w/ 3 Dulcolax in morn, same dosage again in afternoon, 4 litters of Go-Lytely, Pott. Chl. AND a Fleet enema THEN---- the morning of my procedure--ANOTHER Fleet enema !!!!!!! Isn t this a bit much for my poor little system in such a short period of time?? seems like OVERKILL, but then --I m no doctor.

Hello
I agree that is overkill. In general, the Golytely by itself should clean out the colon sufficiently for the procedure. I see no need for the mag citrate, the Dulcolax, or the enemas
