Does Colonoscopy Cause Burning Sensations And Itch?

Hi I got a colonoscopy done about 4 days ago and it feels like burning sensation and itchy specially on the left side. Also I have a dull lower back pain ...went to the ER and no signs of perforation but it feels like I m scratched from the inside. I get chills is this normal?

Hi and thank you for asking!

What you are experiencing is normal after colonoscopy. It's caused by colon mucosa damage.

I would recommend to take spasmex and butifar to relieve the symptoms. Usually it needs a couple of days (3-7 days) and everything will
be back to normality.
