Does Coffee Intake Affect Post Open Heart Surgery?

My name is michael and i was born with a heart murmur, and at 2 years old i had to have open heart surgery to fix it. So I want to know if 1 cup of coffee every morning is bad for my heart? A little more information to help you answer my question: My height is 6 1 and my weight is a little over 200, and I also do calisthenics every day.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Dear Madam
Thanks for your query.
Coffee has no known bad effects on patients with cardiac surgery in the past for heart murmurs. In fact coffee transiently increases heart rate and blood pressure, but it is not forbidden even for patients with coronary artery disease or high blood pressure.
Enjoy your mug.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
