Does Child Needs Antibiotics Since Having Cough, Vomitting Orange Mucous After No Help From Steroids?

My 3 year old daughter, has had a cough for approx 4 weeks. She was prescribed a 3 day course of steroids which didn't seem to make any difference. A day after she finished the course she complained of a sore throat. She wakes through the night so I give her paracetamol or ibuprofen. 2nd day of a sore throat and she has a restless night, finally waking from coughing and vomiting bright orange mucus. She also has really bad breath.

Does she need antibiotics?

Hi...yes she needs antibiotics and stop steroids completely... steroids should not be given in infection they make it worse and decrease body immunity.... as is the case with your daughter...and better show to an ent specialist...
